DESCRIPTION:JUNE 21ST SUMMER SOLSTICE – OUTDOOR EVENT \nWARD POUND RIDGE RESERVATION – Kimberly Bridge Picnic Area \nThe Summer Solstice is the major gathering of the community from NY\, CT and Mass. who desire to connect with the indigenous practices from the Anishinaabe First Nation as shared by Bear Walker\, Scott Nelson and others. We will honor and celebrate the longest day of the year\, the most light on the Earth with gratitude for all the blessings we receive. Enjoy a drumming circle and ceremony as we connect with Gaia and Gitche Manatou. Our energy together as a community on the Summer Solstice will be healing for all in attendance and send out a great light to support heart awakening of humanity. \nCAPACITY:  75 PEOPLE. You must RSVP for this event. Two parking lots are available at Kimberly Bridge that will hold 45 cars.  Please carpool\, if possible. \nBRING:  a folding chair for yourself\, your own food and beverage for the day.  Charcoal grills are available for those who would like to cook; drum or shakers for the drumming circle. Dress for the weather accordingly.  In the event of rain\, a smaller event will be held indoors at Balancing 4 life in Armonk. \nOFFERINGS:  You are welcome to bring food offerings to share with the community as part of the celebration.  There will be a cooler to keep items cold. \nTIME: Gather by Noon.
